GENE BLUEMEL

Gene Bluemel, 53, of Boulder Wyoming passed away May 26, 2007 in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

Gene was born May 13, 1954 to Florin E. and Beverly A Bluemel. He married Mary Pearson in Daniel, Wyoming, later divorced. He was an avid Calf Roper, Team Roper, and Steer Wrestler, winning many awards in high school, professional, and local rodeos. Gene loved life and always had a good time, no matter where he was. He was known for his jokes and teasing, and he never took life too seriously, even when the going got hard. He had his own way of doing everything, even when no one else understood. We will miss the jokes and the laughter, but most of all we will miss the man.

Gene is survived by his son Toby Bluemel, parents, sister Debbie (Larry) Brown, nieces and nephew, Shelly (Mike) Strahan, Jo (Brady) Watterson, Ricky Brown, friend Shawna Bennett and family, and many other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held on Friday June 1st at 11 a.m. at the Redwood Memorial Estates at 6500 South Redwood Road, a viewing will be held 1 hour prior to services.
