Olsen upgraded to good condition
According to the Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center (EIRMC), as of Wednesday, House District #22 Monte Olsen has been upgraded to good condition, and has been moved out of the Intensive Care Unit. Olsen is recovering from injuries sustained when he was struck by a SUV driven by his wife, 39-year-old Lisa Glenn. Olsen was life-flighted to the EIRMC on Saturday, April 28, after emergency personnel responded to a domestic incident at his home in Pinedale.
Glenn has been charged with Reckless Endangerment, a misdemeanor, and was released on a signature bond. Good condition differs from Olsenís previous classification, said EIRMC representative Cindy Smith Putnam, in that the patient no longer is in any discomfort, and there is little worry for minor complications. Putnam said that Olsen is comfortable.
