MERRILL REES

Merrill Rees, 85, passed away Thursday March 1, 2007 at his home in Big Piney, WY. Merrill was born July 24, 1921 in Wales, Utah to David and Elvira Rees. He was the fifth of six children. Merrill was known and loved by all and will be missed, not only by his family but by the community as well.

Merrill is survived by his children Gary (Jennifer) Rees; Ronald (Kathryn) Rees both of Big Piney; Charles (Cathy) Rees of Evanston; brother Newel (Eunice) Rees of Wales, UT; five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his lifelong sweetheart Emma, his parents, three sisters and one brother.

A Funeral Service was held Monday March 5th at 11 a.m. at the Big Piney L.D.S. Church. Interment and military honors followed in the Plainview Cemetery.
