Obituaries

NORMA JUNE HEALEY PEEL

Norma June HEALEY Peel, 92, died Dec. 27 at her home in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

She was born July 7, 1916, at the Wilhelm Family Ranch in Daniel, Wyoming to Patrick Henry Healey and Maria Ethel WILHELM Healey.

Norma June married Garland Robert Peel on Sept. 14, 1940, in St. Mary's Cathedral in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

Mrs. Peel was a wife, homemaker and mother and lived in Cheyenne for more than 80 years.

She was a member of Saint Mary's Cathedral and of St. Mary's Altar and Rosary Society.

She is survived by her sons, Garland Robert Peel, Jr., Daniel Edgar Peel, James Joseph Peel, Michael Francis Peel, Christopher John Peel and David Brian Peel; and daughters, Joan Mary Mayden, Emma Louise Dunn, Kathryn Ann Schelby, Barbara Jean Powell, Alice Margaret Hill; Cecelia Irene Clark and Marian Lenore Hertel; 30 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Peel was preceded in death by her husband, Garland Robert Peel, in 2000; brother, Ret. Col. Patrick Henry Healey Jr.; and sisters, Helen Louise Gaensslen, Ruth Marie Lucas, Winifred Eunice Perkins and Betty Jane Marsch.

Pallbearers will be her sons, G. Robert, Daniel Edgar, James Joseph, Michael Francis and Christopher John and David Brian.

Funeral arrangements will be announced later this week.
