New Cable TV Provider Takes Over County Franchise

by Tiffany Turner

KLiP Interactive, the cable television supplier to most of Sublette County, recentlyannounced to local business owners that it will be discontinuing its service to the area as of June 30.

Residents need not worry about missing their favorite TV show, however, as Bandwidth Industries, Inc, a company based out of Salt Lake City has already purchased the franchise and plans to keep the service around.

Bandwidth Industries says they even have plans to upgrade the system and make more products available to the citizens of Sublette County, including highspeed cable internet, DVR and voice services.

“We plan to provide and expand service tenfold,” Bandwidth spokesman Shane England said. “We were asked to step in and kind of revive the system.

We’re actually pretty excited.”

According to England, customers in Sublette County can expect improved management in the area and more local service as the company plans to spend thousands of dollars in improvements to the system.

“We want to operate on the same levels in the area as the other companies,” England said. “But the most important part is the we are not shutting down service.”
