Obituaries

Jeanette Keiter

Jeanette Keiter, 64, of Ash Grove, Mo. passed away in her home on Sunday afternoon at 1:40 p.m. following a short illness.

Jeanette was born in Wilson, Arkansas and had lived in several areas prior to moving to Wyoming, where she had resided for several years, before moving to Mansfield, Mo. and living there for two years. She moved to Ash Grove in August of 2005.

She graduated from Kingsburg High School in 1959. She was a member of the Ash Grove First Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and had worked with the Bureau of Land Management in the Casper District of Wyoming as an oil and gas inspector for 10 years.

Kathryn Jeanette Perry and Donald Keiter were united in marriage on January 2, 1961. To this union three children were born. Together they were privileged to share 45 years. She was preceded in death by her parents Jesse James and Gladys Azbill Perry.

She is survived by her husband Donald of the home; one son, Dale and wife Heather Keiter of Big Piney; two daughters Robin and husband Sam Johnson of Douglas and Susan Keiter of Ash Grove; five grandchildren: Britney Nicole Keiter, Ryan Ray Keiter, Sierra Lynn Keiter, Rachael Nicole Johnson and Sean Christopher Keiter; two brothers Harold Ellis Perry and Reverend Gerald Scott Perry and one sister, Diane Ritchie, all of Smackover, Ark. and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held Thursday, May 11 at the Ash Grove First Baptist Church with Rev. Gene Marcum officiating with interment following in Ash Grove Cemetery, under the direction of Wilson Brim Daniel Funeral Home.
