Emma Marie Polson Rees

Emma Rees, 84, passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2006, at her home in Big Piney. Emma was born March9, 1922, in Ogden, Utah, to Olof and Avis Pearl Polson. She was the second of four children. She married her life-long sweetheart, Merrill Rees, on June 1, 1945, in San Diego, Calif. Emma was known and loved by many friends and family and will be missed by all.

She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother and two sisters.

She is survived by Merrill, her loving husband of 61 years; children Gary (Jennifer) Rees and Ronald (Kathryn) Rees, both of Big Piney, Charles (Cathy) Rees of Evanston; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, all of Big Piney.

Funeral services were held Saturday, May 13, at the Big Piney LDS Church. Bishop Robert Priddis conducted the services. Interment followed in Plainview Cemetery.
