Motorcycle collides with semi on Pine Street
Sublette County woman injured in accident.

A Sublette County woman was “badly hurt” Sunday afternoon when a semi truck collided with a motorcycle in Pinedale.

According to Wyoming Highway Patrol (WHP) dispatch, Tamhra Burns, 43, of Sublette County was driving a silver Harley Davidson motorcycle when it collided with a semi truck on Pine Street. The call came in to WHP at 12:21 p.m. Dispatch said the Sublette County Sheriff’s Department was first on the scene.

Dispatch also said a red four-door Toyota driven by Charlotte Ziegenfelder was involved in the accident. The Toyota had Sublette County plates.

Sheldon O’Connor, 47, of Kansas was driving the semi truck. According to dispatch, Burns was “badly hurt, but it appeared she would recover.” It was unknown if any other people were injured in the accident.

WHP Trooper Tony Fagnant was the reporting trooper on the scene, however, was not available for comment.
