Brandyn R. Walters

Funeral services for Brandyn R. Walters were held Tuesday, June 27, at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services in New Cumberland, Pa., with Rev. George M. Traub and Rev. James E. Winters officiating. Burial was in East Harrisburg Cemetery.

Walters, 33, of Rock Springs, and formerly of Lewisberry, Pa., died on Wednesday, June 21, 2006, in Rock Springs from injuries sustainedin a motocross accident.

Brandyn was born March 31, 1973, in Harrisburg, Pa., the son of Larry R. Walters of Lewisberry, and Florence “Flo” P. (Reed) Ostrander of Dubois, Pa.

He took pleasure in spending time with his son, family and friends. He also enjoyed his job as lead driver for Casino Enterprises, bowhunting, fishing, camping, motorcycles and other pastimes. He lived his life as if every day was an adventure; he was always quick to smile, and even when he was having problems in his life, he was willing to set them aside to help afriend.

He is survived by his parents, Larry and Florence; two-year-old son Tyler Andrew Kothe of Marbleton; brother Dustin R. Walters of Dubois, Pa.; two sisters, Tasha R. Dosenburg of Steelton, Pa., and Trisha L.Walters of Lemoyne, Pa.; stepfather Greg R. Ostrander of Dubois, Pa.; paternal grandmother Gladys R. Dixon of Huntingdon, Pa.; and maternal grandmother Margaret A. Reed of Lewisberry.
