RHCD to operate Pinedale clinic

by Bill Boender

The Sublette County Rural Health Care District has announced its intent to change operations from the existing operation in Pinedale to one managed and run by the district, as is now the case in Marbleton. Dr. Judy Boyle will remain as a physician but will not have the responsibility of hiring personnel and managing business operations.

Boyle is reported as stating, "I am delighted that I will be able to simply practice my profession, which is why I chose to go into medicine, and solely concentrate on my patients."

The change is still subject to some negotiation but is expected to take place at year's end. District Administrator Randy Johnson reported: "The joining together of our two highly complementary organizations will provide important benefits to the patients we serve and allow us to address important new medical opportunities and challenges in this rapidly changing environment. The combination will improve our ability to deliver quality health care cost effectively in our county."
