Obituaries

Kenneth Ray Camis

Kenneth Camis, 68, of Big Piney passed away Monday, June 20, 2005 in Nevada after an extended hospital stay. He was born in Hanna on Feb. 21, 1937. He spent most of his youth in Green River, where he graduated from high school. He enjoyed the outdoors and the beauty of Wyoming. One of his favorite hobbies was fishing. He also valued spending time with his family and friends.

Kenny is survived by his wife, Sharon, sons KC and Mike (and wife Debbie) Camis; daughter, Cheri Hale (and partner Greg Shiek); sisters Reba Sandstrom, Helen Drees and Georgia Kalivas; brothers Tom Camis and George Camis; and his grandchildren Shebree Hale, Clifton Hale, Kevin Hale, Alex Camis and Aaron Camis.

He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Camis, and mother, Delsie Dunn.

There was an open lodge for Masonic members on June 28 at the Big Piney Masonic Lodge, followed by a memorial service at the Big Piney Fine Arts building.

The family requests that memorial donations be made in Kenneth's name to Community Home Care, P.O. Box 4460, Marbleton, Wyo., 83113-4460 or Shriner's Children's Hospitals.
