Barlow on TV

John Perry Barlow of Pinedale was a guest on the Jane Pauley Show airing last week. The topic of discussion was "secrets to a longer, healthier life."

Barlow was there as a case study for the Canyon Ranch's "ultraprevention" program. Barlow was described as entering the program with the body of an 80-year old, although he was only 56, with the mind of a 17-year-old. Four months of clean living resulted in a Barlow with the body of a 52-year-old.

Barlow said he has attended more Yoga classes "than any other rancher in Sublette County, Wyoming."

Roaming wolf

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service reports that famous Druid wolf #253 is on the move again. This is the wolf that originated in Yellowstone National Park, then traveled to Utah a couple of years ago, was relocated back into Grand Teton National Park, dispersed back to rejoin the Druid pack in Yellowstone, and has now left the park again. He has settled into National Elk Refuge and now is traveling with two other wolves.
