Sublette Examiner Volume 4, Number 48 - February 24, 2005 brought to you online by Pinedale Online Obituaries Thelma Thompson Klein Services for Thelma Thompson Klein, 91, will be held at the Hudson's Funeral Home Thursday, Feb. 24, at 11 a.m. She passed away at her home Tuesday, Feb. 15. Thelma was born in Frankfort, Ind., Sept. 8, 1913, and moved in 1927 to Pinedale, where her family ran a dairy farm until World War II. Thelma graduated in 1933 in a class of five - four boys and herself. She married Tony Klein in 1933 and worked as a secretary in the agriculture triple A program until Tony went to the U.S. Navy. She then moved to Oklahoma City, Okla., and worked in the Douglas Aircraft Factory until the end of the war. She and Tony operated several businesses in Pinedale and were in business in Kaycee for a few years. At county fair time in Pinedale, she and Tony collected flowers from folks in Pinedale and took a truckload to the fair for exhibit. Thelma was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary for 60 years. She was preceded in death by her husband and two brothers, John and Nolan. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Hudson's Funeral Home. Memorials may be sent to the Ladies VFW Auxiliary Post 4801, P.O.
