Kathryn Pearson

Kathryn Pearson passed away on Jan. 28, 2005. Services for her were held Feb. 2 at Hudson's Funeral Home.

Kathryn was born Feb. 13, 1924, in Daniel. She was the fourth of six children born to Arthur F. and Lena A. Pape. She attended school at the Bronx one-room schoolhouse located at Warren Bridge.

She met her husband, Anthony (Tony) Pearson when he and his brothers came to work on her parents' ranch in Daniel. They were married Jan. 19, 1944, in Sandy, Utah. Shortly after their marriage, Tony was sent to fight in World War II and Kathryn spent that time living with her sister Mamie in Kemmerer. Upon his return from the service, they settled in Sublette County, where they spent the next 61 years ranching and raising their four children, as well as enjoying time spent with their many grand and great-grandchildren.

Kathryn was preceded in death by her husband, parents and four siblings.

She is survived by her sister, Venita Jamison; children Gene (Betty Lou) and Mayleen (Bob Boyce) of Pinedale, Rod of Bondurant and Anita (Rich Blakesley) of Buffalo. She also leaves behind nine grand children and 15 great-grandchildren.

Gram will be greatly missed by all.
