Walter Edwin Kenney
Walter Kenney, 62, passed away Dec. 14, 2004, at the Sublette Center in Pinedale.
Walter was born Oct. 4, 1942, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Louise June and William Kenney. He was raised in Boulder and attended school in Pinedale. He spent most of his life in Sublette County.
Walter was a man of the outdoors. He worked as an outfitter on his family's dude ranch and helped out on several ranches in the county. He raised horses and loved to hunt and fish with his friends. He also worked in construction and was a truck driver who could drive through the toughest Wyoming weather with ease.
You could count on Walter to be there. He loved being with friends drinking coffee and shootin' the bull.
A memorial service will be held the first part of January. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Hudson's Funeral Home and arrangements for the service are pending.
