SCSO makes drug bust

According to a release by Sublette County Sheriff Hank Ruland, SCSO Deputy Sheriff Jeramy Pittsley made a traffic stop on a vehicle Oct. 25 on Highway 351 just off Hwy 189 near Big Piney Wyoming.

Pittsley became suspicious of the driver because he was unable to produce proof of insurance and other driver documents. Pittsley asked for assistance and deputies Dan Jensen and Joe Ahlstrom responded. A subsequent search of the vehicle using Jensen’s drug dog indicated more drugs were present.

Chad Robery Kolkman, 23, of Cheyenne was arrested and brought to the Sublette County Jail for booking.

This arrest is just the latest in a series of SCSO arrests by deputies being committed to taking as many drugs off the streets as is possible.

With the influx of people in Sublette County and the increased presence of drugs, Sublette County deputies are more vigilant than ever to make every attempt possible to get illegal drugs off the streets.

A public forum will be held in early December to educate Sublette County citizens on how they can be a part of keeping Sublette County as drug-free as it can be. A date for that will be announced later.
