RHCB hears clinic updates

by Bill Boender

The Sublette County Rural Health Care Board met Monday, Oct. 25, at the Pinedale ambulance barn in a special session to hear updated information regarding the clinic projects. J. D. Dreyer of Davis Partnership Architects presented new drawings and cost estimates to the board.

Pinedale clinic remodeling has been expanded from the original design of 7,452 square feet to 14,301 square feet, with cost estimates rising from $2,356,277 to $4,136,770. The Marbleton-Big Piney clinic new construction was proposed to expand from 8,900 square feet to 12,708 square feet, with costs increasing from $2,625,418 to $3,587,396.

Costs do not include costs for property purchase or expanded ambulance barns. Dryer reported that rough totals have increased from original estimates of $6,000,000 to around $9,000,000.

Another special meeting set for Nov. 8 was cancelled and will be rescheduled for late November so that the architect can prepare more accurate estimates of total cost after incorporating additional changes and modifications.
