Seen any wolves?

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service asks anyone who sees wolves in Sublette County give them a call so the agency can attempt to capture and place radio collars on the animals. The whereabouts of the Daniel pack still isn't known, so if you spot any wolves, give FWS a call at 307-332-7789.

Charges dropped

Last week a federal judge dismissed the charges against U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service wolf biologist Mike Jimenez and private contractor Wes Livingston. The trespassing and littering charges against the men came as the result of the two being found with four tranquilized wolves on a private ranch near Meeteetsee without having the permission of the landowner. FWS's regional director issued an apology to the landowner for the incident.
