Obituaries

Carl Albert Hittle

Former Pinedale resident Carl Albert Hittle, 70, passed away Sunday morning, Feb. 22, 2004 at the Wyoming Retirement Center in Basin, where he had been a resident since 1998.

Cremation has taken place.

A memorial military graveside service was held at the Pinedale Cemetery in Pinedale on Friday, Feb. 27, at 3 p.m. by the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign War.

Carl was born in Pinedale on July 3, 1993, the son of Lester Carl and Josephine Martha (Sommers) Hittle. He received his early education in Pinedale and graduated from high school from there. He went on to college at the University of Wyoming in Laramie.

Carl was inducted into the U.S. Army on Dec.15, 1952, and was sanctioned in Germany during the Korean War. He was honorably discharged from the Army on Dec. 3, 1955.

He worked as a truck driver in the transportation industry for most of his life. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Carl was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

Carl is survived by his daughter, Leslie Miller, and husband, Ralph of Germany; two grandchildren, Branden and McKenna Miller of Germany; his brother, George Hittle of Cheyenne, and his sister, Patsy Gore of Alaska.

Atwood Family Funeral Directors, Inc. was in charge of arrangements.


Ann Marie Louder

Ann Marie Louder passed away on the morning of Feb. 24, 2004, at the Sublette Center in Pinedale. She was 85 years old. She and her husband moved to Pinedale in the 1960s. She loved the beauty of Sublette County and enjoyed nature and being outdoors. One of her favorite hobbies was fishing. She is survived by her husband, Charlie Louder of Pinedale. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Hudson's Funeral Home.


John Neely Service set

Services will be held Saturday, March 6, for John Neely, who passed away Tuesday evening. Viewing and visitation are from 9-11 a.m. at Hudson's Funeral Home, with services set for 11 a.m. in the Hudson's chapel. Interment will follow at the Pinedale cemetery, after which a meal will be served at the Daniel Community Center.
