Instream flow

The Wyoming State Engineer's Office is still working internally on the two applications for establishing an instream flow for an eight-mile stretch of Pine Creek. John Barnes said Monday that drafts of the record of decision are being circulated for internal review, for both applications, one of which deals with storage rights while the other is for direct flow rights.

Barnes said getting the decision completed and approved has been delayed, with one key staff member out of the office due to illness.

Meet with Senator Roberts

Senator Delaine Roberts, District 16, of Etna will host an open forum for interested members of the public on Monday, Nov. 10, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Pinedale Town Hall. Roberts said anyone wanting to talk business of the Wyoming Legislature is invited to sit down and discuss these matters at the Nov. 10 session.

BLM Jonah meeting

The Pinedale Bureau of Land Management Field Office will host an open house on Thursday, Nov. 13, to present the preliminary alternatives for the Jonah II Infill Drilling Project to the public.

The open house will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. in the Pinedale Fire Hall.

"The BLM will make a short presentation at approximately 3:30 p.m., and again approximately four hours later, to present and explain the alternatives and to provide general information about the infill project. Throughout the remainder of the open house, the public will have an opportunity to visit with BLM specialists about specific resource questions or concerns," said Jonah Drilling Project Interdisciplinary Team Leader Carol Kruse.

EnCana Jonah meeting

EnCana Oil and Gas (USA) will host an informational session Friday night on the past, present and future of the Jonah natural gas field. The session will be held Nov. 7 at the Big Piney Library from 6 to 9 p.m.

Water board

Lincoln County Commissioners have made their appointments to the tri-county joint powers board for water development in the Upper Green River region. Appointed were Stan Cooper and Tom Crank.

Sublette County's appointees to the board are Randy Bolgaino and John Andrikopoulos. Sweetwater County appointed John Zebre and Stan Cannon.

Sublette County Board appointments

The Sublette County Commission made several appointments to county boards during its regular business meeting on Tuesday.

The commission only received one application for the three available seats on the county recreation board. Marti Seipp was appointed to a one-year unexpired term.

Edward Boe was appointed to a three-year term on the tri-town recycling board.

Judi Adler was re-appointed to a three-year term on the board of Sublette Citizens for Recycling.
