West Nile Virus meeting rescheduled for April 16

The public informational meeting on West Nile Virus, originally slated for March 18, has been rescheduled for April 16 at 7 p.m. in the meeting room of the Pinedale Fire Hall.

The meeting will feature Terry Creekmore from the Wyoming Department of Health, who will give a presentation on the human and animal health issues surrounding West Nile Virus, to be followed by panel discussion with audience participation. In addition to Creekmore, the panel will include the Sublette County Public Health Officer Dr. Tom Johnston of Pinedale and Les Burrough, former Sublette County Weed and Pest supervisor. Everyone is encouraged to attend and bring their questions.

The Green River Valley Cattlemen's Association is sponsoring the meeting, in cooperation with the Sublette County Public Health Officer. Co-sponsors include a wide range of area groups including the Sublette County Joint Tourism Promotion Board, the Sublette County Hi-Country Senior Citizens, Inc., the Southwest Sublette County Pioneers, the Sublette County Fair Board, the Sublette County Weed and Pest Board, Sublette County Extension Service, the Sublette County Rodeo Club/Sporting Association, the Sublette County Ag Center, and local veterinarians Vern Aultman, Bob Beierman, Susie Blaha, Brent Dean, Len Jensen and Glen Millard.
