With no opposition for any of the four seats open on the Pinedale Town
Council and no controversial issues, only 51 voters turned out Tuesday
to vote in Pinedale’s municipal election, according to Pinedale Town
Clerk Patty Racich. With 1,400 Pinedale residents, that figures out
to be 3.64 percent of the population that voted.
Incumbent Rose Skinner was re-elected to the mayoral spot, while incumbent Margaret Ann Holman and past-mayor Miriam Carlson were voted in for the two, four-year seats, and Gary Heuck got the nod for the two-year seat.
Racich said there was one write in vote for Bob Penton.
According to the trend in voting numbers, the population of Pinedale votes less and less as time goes on. |
