The all-new Pinedale Blues Festival

Find your lawn chairs and mark your calendars for June 21. The Pinedale Blues Festival is here and it's nothing but new! Pinedale Blues Inc. is a newly formed corporation established to not only be an ownership entity, but also to be responsible for promoting and managing the blues festival. Its mission is to bring a knock-out musical event to benefit Pinedale as well as the surrounding communities.

Pinedale Blues Inc. has hired Hatch Marketing of Pinedale for all promotion, organization and advertising for the June event. Serving on the board of Pinedale Blues Inc. are Dan Abernathy, Joe Linsman and Karla Holloway.

Starting at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 2, this event will be bringing nationally acclaimed blues performers to the Pinedale Blues Festival for a full day of rhythm and blues. Some of the performers include: Mike Hurwitz Band, Miss Blues, Carl Weathersby, Billy Branch, Blinddog Smokin', Zora Young and Bobby Rush.

Of course tickets will be on sale at the gate on the day of the festival, but for early birds who like a discount, advance tickets will go on sale March 1. Also, Sublette County residents should keep their eyes open for a personal invitation to be arriving in their mailboxes soon.
