Four file for seats in Pinedale election

As the deadline for filing for seats on the Pinedale Town Council drew to a close Thursday, four had paid the $25 fee to be on the ballot for the election to be held Tuesday, May 7.

Only one person filed for the two-year mayor’s position: incumbent Mayor Rose Skinner.

The three council seats ended with one person filing for each seat. Incumbent Margaret Ann Holman and past-mayor Miriam Carlson signed up for the two, four-year seats, while Gary Heuck filed for the two-year seat.

Pinedale Town Clerk Patty Racich said she is making preparations, and ordered the ballots for the upcoming election on Monday.
