Two-week construction delay

Construction on the Sublette County Courthouse Complex remains at a standstill, for two weeks now, Sublette County Clerk Mary Lankford reported Wednesday morning.

Lankford said the state fire marshal shut down new construction work two weeks ago while the state agency reviews and approves the building plans. Lankford said the agency has had those plans since February or March, but has yet to complete its review.

Until the plan review is complete, and the building plans comply with the fire marshal's requirements, new construction has been suspended, although demolition can continue.
